On behalf of the Ascension community, I thank you for visiting our new Web site. The current happenings and opportunities available to YOU at Ascension are only a click or two away.
The Church of the Ascension was established in 1965 and continues a fine tradition of offering quality worship, lifelong formation, and social outreach programs. On this site, you will find information on how to join the parish; times and dates of importance; as well as descriptions of our various ministries.
The Church supports a school ministry (from preschool through grade 8) widely known for its values-centered approach to student learning. Recent increases in student enrollment as well as the vitality of parental participation have created a well-deserved reputation for the Ascension School as a center for excellence.
If you are a first-time visitor to our site or a veteran navigator here, I trust that you will find what you are looking for. These are exciting times for both the local Catholic church and for Ascension: join us and be part of proclaiming the Good News of Jesus!
Peace,
Father Steven
